The Gerringong Golf Club is one of the best golf experiences you will have in Australia. With its beautiful ocean views from all 19 holes of the course, extreme undulation, stiff winds and adrenaline inducing golf shots from all corners of the course.
I grabbed a group of mates and set out to experience for myself how much fun this place was.
Convoying down the Princes highway in my old man’s Commodore we arrived at heaven around lunch time, enjoyed a meat pie and sampled the local Great Northern’s, Ice cold.
We tee’d off on the 1st as two groups of four, by the second hole we were a group of 8 tornadoing our way around the course.
Taking in everything each hole had to offer, the round was filled with birdies, bets, banter and heckles, Evin’s infamous Persimmon 7 wood even made an appearance off the tee.
In the end the local team ran away with it, up by 2 and taking home the chocolates.
The entire crew left on such a high, wanting more of what we had just endured.
There really isn’t a better way to experience Aussie golf with your best mates, see you next year Gerringong Golf Club.
